My practice

My practice

I work with humans of all kinds. My areas of focus include fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, gut health, and pediatric and adolescent care. I welcome all families — queer, non-binary, and those that don’t fit neatly into boxes. Babies, kids, and teens are an integral part of my practice, and it’s an honor to walk through the many phases of life with my patients.

As a naturopathic doctor, I integrate the wisdom of East Asian medicine with the principles of modern holistic care. My work weaves gentle Japanese acupuncture, trauma-informed counseling, herbal medicine, homeopathy, and embodied, intuitive approaches to nourishment. Each appointment is guided by what’s present in the moment and by what your body is asking for.

I trust the body’s innate capacity to heal. My work is not about suppressing symptoms, but about understanding them — listening for what they reveal and tending to their roots with care. I keep plenty of tissues in my office — sometimes for a stuffy nose, but more often for the release that comes when someone finally feels safe enough to let go.

About me

About me

hi, i'm dr. isabel (she/her)

When I was a baby, I had colic and chronic ear infections that nothing seemed to touch. After round upon round of antibiotics, my parents — exhausted and worried — brought me to a naturopath. With a few thoughtful shifts in how I was nourished, my symptoms eased. That early experience planted a seed — a quiet understanding that healing could look and feel different.

Holistic medicine has woven through my life ever since, eventually guiding me to become a Naturopathic Doctor and Licensed Acupuncturist. I’ve always been drawn to birth and babies — to that liminal space between worlds. I was that kid who took caring for her dolls very seriously — and I later trained as a doula, nearly pursuing midwifery.

Now, as a mother myself, I understand in my bones the tenderness and overwhelm of caring for new life — and the deep, often unspoken need for care that holds the caregiver, too. My practice is a reflection of that knowing: not static or prescriptive, but alive — a place where you can arrive as you are, and where healing can unfold in its own time.

Equity & Inclusion

all identities are welcome, honored, and supported here.

This is a queer-friendly, inclusive space — one that celebrates all gender identities and expressions. As a white provider, I understand that healing doesn’t exist separately from justice. I’m committed to the ongoing work of learning and unlearning, and to holding awareness of how these systems shape both of our experiences in care.

Each month, I offer several sliding scale sessions for those who identify as BIPOC. A portion of my proceeds also goes toward BIPOC-owned businesses and continuing education in racial and social justice.
